“I spent eight years at a Boys’ and Girls’ club, working with kids for whom the education system did not work well. I’m here for those kids – the students without textbooks, without the resources they need to succeed, and without advocates to get them those resources. We’re helping school districts meet students where they are, support them and provide multiple opportunities and avenues for success.”
Stephanie Cheney joined the Nellie Mae Education Foundation in 2005.
Stephanie has extensive program and grants management experience, having served as Interim Executive Director of the West End House Boys and Girls Club in Allston, Massachusetts; as After School Program Officer for the Massachusetts Service Alliance in Boston; and as Program Director for the Summer Fund, Associated Grant Makers.
Stephanie holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Bridgewater State College.
