Elizabeth “Liz” Hilpman has over 30 years of experience investing in the asset management world with a focus on alternative investments strategies. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences covering a wide range of topics including asset allocation and manager selection. She is currently the President and Chief Investment Officer of Barlow Partners, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor.

Prior to Barlow Partners, Ms. Hilpman was a Vice President of Investments for 9 years at CommonFund, an asset management firm serving not-for-profit institutions. Earlier in her career, she was a Director of Alternative Manager Research at Dubin & Swieca, an Investment Officer at Dartmouth College, and a portfolio manager at Global Asset Management (“GAM”).

Ms. Hilpman holds a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire. She serves on the boards and investment committees for several not-for-profit organizations and is also a member of the Economic Club of New York.

For the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, Ms. Hilpman serves on the Audit and Risk and Investment committees.
